The project of Anhui Huishang Vocational and Technical College Arts and Sports Center, matches the positioning and strength of TianGe Acoustic. The Arts and Sports Center is a newly built multifunctional gymnasium inside the Huishang Vocational and Technical College. There are two standard basketball courts in it, total is 1,680 square meters, and its internal functions are relatively complete. It is required to adapt to a variety of needs. The architectural function is mainly basketball games, taking account of sports training, conferences, school parties and other functions.

The building has a rectangular shape, length 48.3m, height 11.2- 12.6m, volume 21820m³. The overall structure of the ceiling is a grid structure with color steel tile roof. There are no fixed seats in the venue, and the stage is a retractable movable stage.

Since the venue needs to have the functions of both basketball games and small shows, there are corresponding requirements for sound quality. The prerequisite for good sound quality is that there is no excessive reverberation in the hall and it is quiet enough. When used as a performance, to ensure a good sound quality environment. Therefore, a certain degree of architectural acoustic design should be carried out in the venue to ensure that it meets the requirements of the venue.

With the analysis of the existing data, the CAD flat elevation drawings and three-dimensional models of the the place, a detailed sound field analysis was carried out by TianGe Acoustic Designer. A complete set of acoustic design solutions was developed for it to enable the art center to meet the requirement for use.

The final solution achieved the following effects:

1. The indoor sound quality environment is good, the listening sound is clear, and there are no acoustic defects such as multiple echoes;

2. Acoustic materials emit less dust and volatile organic compounds, which meets indoor environmental quality requirements;
