On March 14, 2017, the main project of “One Center with Three Venues” of Zunyi City Olympic Sports Center was completed. As the key project of Zunyi City, Zunyi Olympic Sports Center will be the venue of the 10th Guizhou Provincial Games in 2018. Zunyi Olympic Sports Center is located in Xinpu New District, Zunyi City.

Since the official start of construction in 2015, the total land area is 410,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 144,000 square meters and an investment of 1.64 billion yuan. It consists of four large single buildings including an indoor stadium, a main gymnasium, a natatorium and a training hall.

According to the design plan, the Olympic Sports Center has more than 50,000 seats. After its completion, it will be a modern sports center which completes in equipment, numerous in function to meet the needs of relevant both domestic and international large-scale events.

In order to enable the Olympic Sports Center to be completed on schedule, the construction team fully accelerated the construction progress. Up to now, the gymnasium, training hall and stadium have been basically completed, and late into the final phase. The swimming pool is completed 85%, and the construction is scheduled to be completed in mid-December. The project of “One Center with Three Venues” is scheduled to enter the trial operation phase at the end of December. It is expected to be fully operational at the end of March next year.
