The fibres inside the glass wool are fluffy and staggered, and there are also a large number of tiny pores. When sound waves enter the surface of the material, the sound waves can enter the material along the pores, causing the vibration of air molecules in the pores. Due to the viscous resistance of air and the friction between air molecules and the pore wall, sound energy is converted into friction heat energy and sound absorption, achieving a good sound absorption and noise reduction effect.
